The Journey
With a career spanning almost three decades, Steve Caesar has established himself as one of Malta’s recognised names in House music. Starting his DJ journey in 1998 at the age of 17, Steve developed a distinctive sound rooted in soulful and funky House, blending the timeless influences of Disco, Soul and Funk with the energy of the dancefloor.
His passion for music and instinct for reading a crowd have taken him from Malta’s leading clubs to international dancefloors in Amsterdam, Prague and Kyiv. Throughout his career, Steve has shared the stage with internationally renowned DJs including Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo, Todd Terry and Junior Sanchez.
Beyond the DJ Booth
Steve’s influence extends beyond DJing. In 1999, he launched Strictly House, marking the beginning of his journey as an event promoter. Since then, he has developed and organised numerous events and club nights, including Steve Caesar Classics, Steve Caesar NYE and the highly popular Hed Kandi parties in Malta.
One of his most recognised creations is TheSoulShaker – an event concept celebrating soulful House music and extended DJ sessions. Its success also inspired a series of compilation CDs, eventually growing into a collection of ten releases and becoming an important part of his musical legacy.

Known for his soulful selections, funky grooves and ability to create an atmosphere that connects people through music, Steve continues to bring his experience and passion to clubs, events and new projects.
From classic Disco influences to contemporary House sounds, his approach remains rooted in one simple belief: great music brings people together.
With nearly 30 years behind the decks, Steve Caesar continues to evolve as a DJ and event producer, driven by the same passion that started his journey in 1998 – a genuine love for music, unforgettable dancefloor moments and the culture that surrounds them.
